As of June 1, 2023, hours for requesting or donating equipment
will be Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The VHA Helping Hands DME Loan Program Announces New Summer Hours

The VHA’s Helping Hands loans free durable medical equipment exclusively to The Villages residents and their guests as a non-profit, Neighbor-Helping-Neighbor volunteer-run program.

As of June 1, 2023, hours for requesting or donating equipment
will be Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Office hours for pick-up and return of equipment will remain the same: Monday – Friday 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at our location in Spanish Springs at 1104 Main Street across the walkway at the back of Kilwin’s. Please note:  Our office is for the pickup and collection of equipment only. We do not have a showroom for displaying and viewing purposes.

It’s very easy to request equipment. Just call 352-973-2284

Calls received after hours will be returned by a Coordinator within 24 hrs (except weekends when our office is closed).
